Miss Calie - Owner

Calie started her career working with children in 2005 by teaching Tae Kwon Do in Maple Ridge. She then got her first degree black belt in 2008 and continued teaching. Her teaching fueled her passion for working with children. She taught children and adults from ages 2 all the way until 90. She gravitated to the younger ages as she loved their enthusiasm and energy for all activities. 

She got married in 2016 and later that year moved to the Okanagan with her husband. She then started working at Kids Connection Daycare in 2017 and soon became the Before & After School manager shortly after this. She had her first daughter in 2019 and then had the opportunity to purchase Kids Connection Daycare. 

She recently changed the name to Pitter Patter Learning Centres to encompass the importance of Early Childhood Learning. Her vision is to create fun and exciting centres that children can come to learn and explore the world around them.

In her free time Calie enjoys working with horses and being on a farm. She enjoys creating new experiences for her children and loves watching them grow and enjoys the simple things in life.  

 
 

Ms Darcy - Director

‘Ms Darcy’ has been working with children for the past 15 years. She began as an Early Childhood Assistant and worked while obtaining her full Early Childhood Educator status. She has been a manager for a few centers and brings amazing skills, ideas and creativity where ever she is. She is a life long learner and enjoyed the challenge and new experiences that going back to school brought. Everyone knows Darcy as “Ms Darcy” and that she loves glitter and her favorite color is pink!! She loves to garden in her down time and enjoys walks with her dogs.

Miss Anju - Early Childhood Educator

Anju has been working with the children for over 7 years. She enjoys working with the children of all ages. After graduating from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal, she started teaching in an elementary school. She immigrated to Canada in 2014 and started to work in a child care program for 6 months to 5 years old children.
She recently moved to Penticton and joined the Kids Connection Day Care, (now Pitter Patter). She enjoys watching children learning by doing different activities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and gardening.

Miss Kelsey - Manager

Kelsey has recently started her career path in child care. With goals of becoming an early childhood educator. She enjoys working with all different age groups of children, seeing them play together and further their education at the centre.
Kelsey grew up in Okanagan Falls and has moved to Penticton in the last year. She was previously an esthetician in the Penticton area before deciding child care was the career path she wanted to take. She enjoys being outdoors and going on adventures with her boyfriend and dog.

Miss Jennifer - Before & After School Manager & Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Jennifer moved to Penticton in 2020 and started a new career in child care working for Kid’s Connection.  She previously worked as a receptionist and a school supervisor for schools in Princeton, BC.

Jennifer graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Geography.  She currently holds an Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate but is wanting to pursue further studies in early childhood education.

Jennifer enjoys working with children of all ages and has a passion for planning fun activities, special events, and science experiments.  She also loves reading stories and dancing and singing with the junior kindergarten and daycare kids.

Jennifer is enjoying her new home in the Okanagan with her husband and two boys. She is a busy baseball mom, but in her spare time enjoys traveling, reading and going for walks with her family.  She also loves going to Disneyland and collecting vintage Disney items.

Miss Monica - Early Childhood Educator  

Miss Monica began working for the Uplands Kids Connection in 2009 and helped to implement the Wiltse program, (now Pitter Patter), from its beginning in 2011.  Monica sent her son, Brayden, to Kids Connection when he was four, and the positive experience at the program inspired her to seek a teaching position with us.

Monica experiences great pleasure and satisfaction from early childhood education, and thoroughly enjoys her position at Kids Connection.  Monica has taken many courses over and above her Early Childhood training including positive behavior support training. 

Monica enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and children, Brayden and Jada.  She loves animals and can often be seen walking her beloved dog, Max.
